Fans Throw Their Phones At TXT's Soobin In China; This Was How He Returned It To Them

While some can’t wait to show off their shiny new iPhone 17 Pro, some overzealous fans can’t wait to hurl their devices at their idols.

TXT’s Choi Soobin reportedly lost his cool after being mobbed by obsessive fans aka sasaengs (fans who stalk the private lives of idols), in Wuxi, China.

In viral clips posted online, they were even seen throwing their phones at the 24-year-old K-pop star as he entered an elevator.

Soobin is seen picking up, not one, but two phones and hurling them right back, creating what looked like a standoff.

The boybander was said to be on vacation with buddies, ZB1 member Zhang Hao, and ONEUS’s Keonhee.

In other videos posted online, chaos also erupted earlier at the airport when screaming fans were also seen pushing and shoving their phones at Soobin, trying to take photos of him.

Even the security guards who were trying to control the situation looked like they were reconsidering their life choices.

Netizens were quick to slam the fans, calling their behaviour “disgusting” and “embarrassing”.

Others even advised Soobin to quickly leave the country and wrote: “If it is too much, just go back to Korea”.

Another welcomed Soobin back to Taiwan, saying he won’t get the same treatment there.

The ‘Open Always Wins’ singer was in Taiwan a few months ago, with no one leaking his location while he was there. Pictures and videos only surfaced after Soobin had shared about his trip on social media.

Even Chinese netizens couldn’t defend the Wuxi chaos, adding the fans' behaviour was “a national embarrassment”.
