Jackie Chan 'Lookalike' In Brazil Has Us Believing In The Multiverse
Any star worth his or her salt has a doppelganger. Jay Chou has a legion of lookalikes in China.
Faye Wong has a dead ringer who sells pho in Vietnam.
As for Jackie Chan, he has a duplicate all the way in Brazil.
Laudelino Lucas aka Jeki Baiano is a Brazilian content creator known for his uncanny resemblance to the movie legend.
And they don’t just look like each other physically – that bulbous nose surely means they are related right?! – they even sound alike.
Just watch this video and tell us you didn’t think it was Jackie Chan circa 2000 speaking Portuguese.
The nickname Jeki Baiano literally translates to 'Jackie from Bahia', a state in Brazil.
He has over 1.1mil Instagram followers and his videos show him making merry on the streets of Bahia with his pals.
And what bad boys he is friends with. Quite literally.
In many of his videos, Jeki is often seen painting the town red with lookalikes of Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, you know, the stars of the Bad Boys film series.
But, of course, the main draw is Jeki.
A quick scroll though his IG comments and it’s clear many people have been fooled by the resemblance.
One video of Jeki chopping a coconut open with a cleaver had people convinced that it was a deepfake video of Jackie Chan.
The comment “How many of you thought it’s actually Jackie Chan” has been liked over 4,000 times.
And guess what?
It turns out, we were all fooled. Jeki actually uses an AI filter to mimic Jackie.
And this is what he really looks like:
Now who else feels cheated?
