‘Eddie Peng’ Seen On Economy Class Flight But Fans Know It’s Just Lookalike ‘Cos Of One Facial Feature

Have you ever thought you met a celebrity but couldn’t be sure?

One Xiaohongshu user did on a Hong Kong-bound flight from Singapore on Feb 2, so she decided to ask the internet for answers.

“Everyone, help me see if this is (Taiwanese actor) Eddie Peng,” posted the user, along with a pic of a fellow passenger sleeping.

Gotta admit, the guy in the photo does look a lot like the 42-year-old star. Even more than this Eddie doppelganger, we thought.

But many netizens felt otherwise, asserting that the man is a lookalike.

The reason?

“Would Eddie Peng fly economy class? Think again,” said one netizen.

We think that's debatable since Linda Chung and Heavenly King Andy Lau have been spotted in cattle class. 

But the most telling difference, according to many, was – wait for it – his earlobes.

“The ears are very obvious. Eddie Peng’s earlobes are big,” remarked one fan, while another commented: “Eddie Peng’s earlobes are fleshier,” attaching a pic of the actor as proof.

Erm, we didn’t know Eddie’s earlobes were one of his prominent features.

Another difference is their noses, said some.

The man in the pic has a “Jackie Chan nose”, while Eddie’s is sharper.

Perhaps the guy is this Eddie doppelganger?
