Man Claims He Resembles The Late Leslie Cheung, The Internet Disagrees

While some celebrity look-alikes have left us surprised, a man from Guangdong, China is facing backlash for claiming he looks like late Cantopop singer Leslie Cheung.

In a video posted to Xiaohongshu, he said many have encouraged him to imitate the iconic singer because of their resemblance though he has no intention of doing so.

We wonder who these people are.

It seems we weren’t alone in not being able to see the resemblance between him and Leslie.

“You might resemble Leslie if he had fallen from a building,” read a particularly mean comment given the circumstances surrounding the star's death while another wrote: “You look like my pet dog at home”.

Some hilariously suggest that the person who put the idea in his mind that must have been blind, while another advised that he invest in a better mirror.

That is a very bold claim

He says he wants to imitate the late singer's behaviour

We wonder what Leslie would think about the comparison
