Darshen Shares His Side Of The Story About Relationship With Dr Samuel; Claims The Latter Said He “Ruined His Life” & Later Ghosted Him

Darshen K and Dr Samuel Choudhury, the content creator duo better known as Darshen & Samuel, have officially called it quits. This is according to Darshen, who spilled the tea in a surprise livestream on Sunday (Mar 1).

The pair, who gained viral fame and even garnered international fans with their videos together, have never openly spoken about their relationship - well, until now that is. 

Darshen, 31, confirmed that he and Samuel have fallen out.

“He said that ultimately, he didn’t get respected as a doctor. So, he said that I kind of ruined his life, and that was very hard to swallow,” shared a visibly emotional Darshen.

Before Darshen’s livestream, his TikTok videos have already hinted that he and Samuel were no longer as close.

Darshen and Samuel have not appeared in a video together since December 30 last year.

While both are content creators, Samuel dispensed mainly medical advice on his account, while Darshen was a fashion and beauty influencer. However, they started creating content together after a Europe trip in 2025.

Darshen is a former Singapore Airlines cabin crew before becoming a content creator, while Samuel is a family physician with Raffles Medical Group.

According to Darshen, that conversation happened privately between the two of them and was never meant for the public to know.

He also denied speculation from overseas fans that Singapore’s stance on LGBT couples played a role in the split.

“That was something nobody really knows. I never really addressed it in the videos, and I don’t think I want to address it in my videos,” he explained.

Addressing the fallout directly, Darshen revealed that Samuel felt the online fame came at a cost.

“That is why I was very hurt deeply, that’s why I guess he decided to just ghost, and disappear out of my life. I just felt that was very unfair, because he wanted to ultimately benefit from the fame and popularity, and when it didn’t go the way he wanted, he said that I just ruined his life, he felt he wasn’t getting respected as a doctor, he felt like I ruined his life, and that’s what it is”.

“I didn’t want to make it public through the videos or anything like that but my close people, my close inner circle of friends, they know about it,” he said.

Despite everything, the two are still following each other on Instagram.

Netizens were mixed over this latest development.

Many expressed sympathy for Darshen, praising him for speaking up.

Others were more skeptical, questioning whether the latest revelation could be another publicity move.
