Local TikToker Doesn’t Think Any Singaporean Men Qualifies As A ‘10’; Internet Disagrees

There is a trend now on TikTok where people discuss what it means to be a '10' in your country. It refers to an attractiveness scale, with '10' meaning you're, well, the most physically desirable. 

The conversation has mostly centered around females, with some creators giving make-up tutorials on how to look like a 10 in their country. 

Local TikToker, who goes by the handle @justnon_sense, or Non for short, has what she calls a "genuine question" for the Internet. 

She asked: "You've seen Singapore 10 for girls, but what is a Singapore 10 for men? I don't think I've seen a guy in Singapore so attractive that I would consider him a Singapore 10."

She continued: "I've seen videos where girls are trying to put on make-up to look like a Singapore 10, but what is the equivalent for a Singapore 10 guy? I honestly don't think there is one. You might argue that Singapore has some attractive men, but to me a 10 is someone who is universally considered attractive and if you compare Singapore men to men in other countries, I don't think we have someone who would be considered a 10."

Non is aware she might get hated on for her take, but still remains curious about what a Singapore 10 man looks like. 

Netizens were quick to jump in with their picks. 

One name that kept coming up was Chuando Tan. "Not young but still a 10/10," wrote a netizen.

The 59-year-old photographer went viral in 2017 for his age-defying looks and physique. And judging from the comments, he's still lives rent-free in the minds of Singaporeans.

Mediacorp stars Tyler Ten and Pierre Png were also mentioned, with this one netizen making a very good pun on Tyler's name: "His surname is literally Ten".

Another netizen opined: "You all are seriously sleeping on WhyLucas and Yang Yan. They were recently just on idol survival shows in Korea and Thailand (Chuang and Starlight Boys) but unfortunately probably not that famous yet."

Some trollers brought up more, um, controversial names like Steven Lim and Kurt Tay.
