Nicole Chang Min Shares BTO Reno Vlog Amid Marital Trouble Rumours; Says It Was "Filmed Before Recent Events"

Rumours of marital trouble between James Seah and local influencer Nicole Chang Min have been swirling for the past couple of weeks. Further fuelling the rumours is the latter's latest vlog post.

While neither party has confirmed their current relationship status, the 35-year-old Mediacorp actor refuted on Instagram earlier this month that the online allegations and speculation are “baseless”. He denied the rumours, and urged the public to respect their privacy.

Nicole, on the other hand, merely reacted with three cryptic “raised eyebrow” emojis.

But earlier today (May 3), the 33-year-old content creator made a surprising move by sharing a vlog about their BTO flat renovations.

In the latest video, the influencer showcased their empty four-room flat, which was previously revealed to be located in Boon Keng.

What viewers were not expecting, however, was for James to make an appearance in the clip. 

James and Nicole had been together for about six years before he proposed in December 2019. The couple tied the knot in January 2022.

"Actually James was supposed to be in Johor Bahru but he managed to complete filming one day in advance and he's here! Welcome back!" she said at that time.

James, who was using his phone, cooperatively posed for the camera while walking away.

In the video, they also went shopping for furniture and household appliances while Nicole continued to mention James in several parts of the video, including referring to a dishwasher as "James' favourite" because he "does the dishes".

When Nicole's friend, local influencer Koh Boon Ki, asked if she could have a staycation at their place after seeing their "makeshift onsen tub", the former quipped: "Can, [we can] chase my husband out."

But before you start wondering what's going on, Nicole did leave a message for her viewers in the video's caption.

"This vlog was filmed before recent events you may have seen online," she wrote.

"Regardless of what's happened since, I still want to honour the work, the house, and everyone who poured their heart into this project. So I will be sharing everything as planned."

Although she did not state when the video was recorded, Nicole did mention she “hopes the renovation work can be completed smoothly in November,” suggesting it was filmed several months earlier.
