This Chinese Farmer Has Been Dubbed A “99.99% Lookalike” Of Jay Chou
His resemblance is so spot-on that he even sports a tooth gap between his front teeth, something the Mandopop King had in his early days in showbiz.

We've lost track of the number of Jay Chou lookalikes we've read about over the years.
Apart from impersonators, there's a Physical 100 contestant and regular Joes like these street food vendors. There's even one here in Singapore.
But we think this vegetable farmer from Quanzhou, China, has to be the closest doppelganger.
Wei Wenkai, 41, also known as “Quanzhou’s Veggie Jay”, recently went viral for his uncanny resemblance to the Mandopop King.
He often shares clips of himself going about his daily farming chores. Set against the backdrop of Jay’s hits, his clips exude the nostalgic charm of a countryside-themed music video.
Originally from Hebei, Wenkai began posting farming videos in December 2024 at the encouragement of friends.
He never imagined that his striking resemblance to a young Jay would cause such a stir.
He has even been dubbed “99.99% lookalike” of the singer.
His resemblance is so spot-on that he even sports a tooth gap between his front teeth, something Jay had in his early days in showbiz before undergoing dental work.
Despite the comparisons, Wenkai insists he’s not trying to mimic Jay’s style.
In an interview with Chinese media, he admitted that he’s tone-deaf and that his videos are simply a documentation of his everyday life.
He said: “The things that I wear and use [in my videos] are my actual farming essentials. I don’t take filming too seriously, I just want to show what simple farm life looks like."
A self-proclaimed die-hard Jay Chou fan, Wenkai appreciates the support he’s received from fellow Jay supporters but remains grounded.
"Going viral was a pleasant surprise, but my priority is still farming and doing my job well," he said.
His down-to-earth attitude has resonated with many, with fans commenting that he reminds them of Jay when he first debuted.
"He brings back memories from my youth," wrote one netizen.
As Jay once said: "All the Jays in the ‘multiverse’ are out there striving to live their best lives and spreading positive energy."
Wenkai plans to continue creating videos, and use it as a medium to spread happiness and warmth, while offering a glimpse into authentic farm life.
