Mandopop King Jay Chou’s highly anticipated music video for ‘Pink Ocean’ (粉色海洋) dropped last night (Aug 15), and boy, did it want to make us have kids.

‘Pink Ocean’ is a track from Jay’s latest album Greatest Works Of Art, which was released exactly a month ago (Jul 15).

Fans originally thought that Jay’s son, Romeo, five, would have only a short cameo in the music video, since his voice could be heard in the intro of the song.

They were, however, pleasantly surprised to find out that the vid is centered around the boy instead.

Jay and his pink ukulele... and a cute quokka

The video, which was filmed in Australia, featured the beautiful sights of Hutt Lagoon and Rottnest Island.

Besides being famous for its beaches and clear waters, Rottnest Island is also known for being home to the adorable quokkas, which explains their appearance in the video.

So adorable!
Don't they look so much alike?

Little Romeo can be seen in his now trademark shades strolling along the beach and playing a bright blue ukulele, all while remembering to flash his pearly whites at the camera.

Jay also appears in the vid (duh!) wearing a matching pair of shades, and playing a pink ukulele.

Though father and son do not appear together in any scenes, it was clear that Romeo has inherited the Jay’s swagger.

Many netizens have gushed over how adorable Romeo is, with some waxing lyrical about how they “have been listening to Jay’s music since they were kids” and have now come full circle, watching their idol’s son in his music videos.
