Michelle Chia’s Husband Is A Successful Property Agent, Who Calls Himself “The Property Batman”
Michelle, 50, and Jackson Tan, 41, who was a Mediacorp actor in the late 2000s, tied the knot in beautiful beachside wedding in Bintan.

By now, you would have probably heard that former Mediacorp actress-host Michelle Chia has tied the knot with ex Mediacorp actor-turned-property agent Jackson Tan.
The couple dated for just two months before saying “I do” in an intimate beachside wedding in Bintan on August 8.
Among the close family and friends in attendance were celeb pals like Class 95 DJ Yasminne Cheng, and Michelle’s The Queen co-stars Jesseca Liu, Priscelia Chan, Apple Hong, and Jayley Woo.
The celebrations, held at the picturesque Hotel Indigo, looked straight out of a fairytale.
Michelle walked down the aisle in a lace applique gown, while Jackson looked sharp in a blue suit.
For the dinner party under the stars, Michelle switched into a playful yellow striped co-ord set.
The night ended with a five-minute fireworks display — Jackson’s wedding gift to his bride. (This guy damn spoil market.)
Michelle, who turns 50 on September 19, told zaobao.sg that this is her “best birthday present”.
Jackson, 41, gushed on Instagram that Michelle is his soulmate and that the big day was “more precious than any deals [he’s] ever closed… sealed with a kiss, not a contract.”
Their love story goes way back… sort of. They first met in 2008 but barely crossed paths.
Fast forward to September 2024, Jackson messaged Michelle to wish her a happy birthday, and the rest was rom-com history.
Michelle, who was married to Mediacorp actor Shaun Chen from 2009 to 2011, had no plans remarry.
“But when fate comes, it really cannot be stopped,” she said.
As for Jackson, he’s not just Michelle’s leading man, he’s a rising star in the property world too.
Jackson, whose looks were likened to Hong Kong '70s idol Kenny Bee and who was known for his fit physique, first entered showbiz as a finalist on Star Search 2007.
He was 8 Days' pick to win the competition but eventually lost to Andie Chen. He was named Mr Personality though and appeared in dramas such as Crime Busters X2.
He also worked as a physical fitness coach and a lecturer at Ngee Ann Polytechnic before switching to real estate.
In just five years, he soared to the top 1 per cent of PropNex agents in 2023.
He calls himself “The Property Batman”, a nod to both his personal branding and his knack for closing deals late into the night.
Looks like Michelle has found her Dark Knight.
