Has Blackpink’s Jennie Reignited The Stanley Tumbler Hype Again?

First it was Blackpink's Lisa and her obsession with Labubu toys. Now, it's Lisa's bandmate, Jennie and her love of Stanley tumblers that seems to be reigniting the Stanley craze.

Online searches for the once-viral 'It' bottle have surged once again, ever since Jennie, 29, shared a behind-the-scenes pic from the group's Deadline World Tour where she was cradling a yellow Stanley tumbler. 

In fact, people have opened up group orders online for the exact same yellow 887ml tumbler Jennie was seen with. A tumbler of that size retails for US$35 (S$45) on the Stanley website, with resellers touting them for an average of S$60. In Singapore, it's available on Shopee for $57.90. 

Jennie is clearly a fan of the bottle — she's been spotted using the same ones in blue and white variations in recent years. 

Other celebs who've been seen sipping from Stanley tumblers include Jennie's bandmate, Rosé, and G-Dragon. 

The Stanley tumbler hype first started some three to four years ago, after many influencers were seen carrying around what they called their "emotional-support bottles". Following that, many other insulated-tumbler brands, like Owala, entered the fray offering up all sorts of colour combinations. 

So did Jennie simply hop on the trend, or did she spark a renewed demand for these bottles? Whatever keeps the girlies hydrated, we suppose. 

Other than the tumbler she was holding, fans were also drawn to the sunglasses Jennie wore. They were discovered to be the Trekking Sunglasses Silver from Japanese brand Montbell, and cost around S$70 a pair. 

At least it wouldn't cost much to gear up like your favourite idol this time?
