Christopher Lee Was Once Asked If He Was Gay. Guess How The Actor Reacted?
The Singapore star recalls being asked about his sexuality and reveals why he used to hang out at gay bars in his younger days.

In Christopher Lee's new Taiwanese drama Islanders, one of the greatest talking points thus far must be his on-screen relationship with his male personal assistant, Chen Han Rong
In the show, 54-year-old Chris plays charming and philandering entrepreneur Li Xianhong whose PA (played by Taiwanese actor Wu Kang Ren, 42) harbours a long-time crush on him.
The biggest highlight of all?
That particular scene of Chris baring his butt while getting out of the pool right in front of Kang Ren. One scene in the risqué drama also saw Kang Ren's character pleasuring himself while looking at a pic of Chris.
Interestingly, the four-time Golden Bell Best Actor recently revealed in an interview that he's been hit on by a man in real life too.
Recalling how he used to go clubbing when he was younger, Chris revealed that a man approached him one time. The incident happened over 20 years ago.
"He looked at me and asked: 'Are you gay?'. I immediately turned around and said: 'I am straight'," he recounted.
"My sexuality has been questioned before too," said the actor, who has been famously married to local actress Fann Wong since 2009. They now have a 11-year-old son, Zed.
Chris actually has many friends who are gay, and enjoys hanging out with them.
"There was a period when I kept going to gay bars, but everyone knew I was straight. I don't mind being friends with them but I want them to know that I'm not [gay]," asserted Chris.
"I won't toy with people's feelings," he posited.
