Ayden Sng Ranks 3rd, Glenn Yong 20th On 100 Most Handsome Faces 2025 List
TC Candler has officially unveiled its 2025 rankings, revealing this year’s winners from its widely known 100 Most Beautiful Faces and 100 Most Handsome Faces lists. The annual results have once again sparked widespread discussion, with two local celebrities making the cut.
Ayden Sng, 32, who made his debut on the list in 2023 at 14th place, climbed five spots to ninth in 2024. The Mediacorp actor, whose popularity has skyrocketed in China, rose another six spots this year to reach an impressive third.
29-year-old Ah Girls Go Army star Glenn Yong has also reappeared on this list. He jumped from 75th place in 2023 to 35th in 2024, and has risen the ranks once more to place 20th this year.
A particularly moving portion of this year's results announcement video features late Chinese actor Yu Menglong, who was posthumously included in the 100 Most Handsome Faces nominees list for the first time. He came in fifth.
Yu Menglong died after falling from a building in Beijing on September 11 this year. Although authorities ruled his death an accident, videos and audio recordings have since circulated online, accompanied by allegations of torture and abuse. The true circumstances surrounding his death remain unclear, with many continuing to call for the truth to be revealed.
In the ranking video, the actor’s segment felt particularly heavy, moving fans to tears. It featured a shot of his back, as the words “Truth,” “Justice,” and “Answers” appeared on screen, before fading to black with the message “In Loving Memory.”
The number one spot went to Chinese actor Zhang Zhehan, who faced a widespread boycott in 2021 after photos of him visiting Japanese shrines circulated online, triggering significant public backlash.
Placing second was Australian actor Jacob Elordi, 28, best known for his roles in Netflix's The Kissing Booth franchise, and HBO series, Euphoria.
