Muscular Hong Kong Vice-Principal Goes Viral For Tight Shirt, Says He'll Buy Bigger One Next Payday
Who knew a school vice-principal could cause such a stir?
Imagine being invited to a university to give a talk about artificial intelligence (AI) and education, only for everyone to end up talking about your physique.
Well, that's exactly what happened to Keric Lee, a primary school vice-principal in Hong Kong.
Keric, who is vice-principal of SKH Yuen Chen Maun Chen Jubilee Primary School in Tai Po, was invited to deliver a guest lecture at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) on October 9.
But when his school shared photos of the event on social media, the post attracted tens of thousands of likes.
And let's just say it wasn't his presentation that had netizens talking.
Instead, many appeared far more interested in his muscular physique, which was rather hard to miss under his fitted shirt.
Some even nicknamed him the "Muscular Vice-Principal" and "Buff Park Bo-gum", comparing him to the popular South Korean actor.
For the record, Keric was at HKUST to share how his school has been using innovative teaching methods and AI to encourage students to learn independently and creatively.
And while the Internet may be more interested in his pecs, he's got quite the academic background too.
According to his LinkedIn profile, Keric holds a Bachelor of Education in English Language and a Master of Education in Curriculum and Pedagogy from the University of Hong Kong.
On Instagram, where he goes by @gymgpt1, he also shares his interest in fitness alongside his work in education.
Clearly, he's been putting in the work both in and out of the classroom.
As expected, netizens had plenty to say about his looks.
"Are primary school vice-principals really this good-looking and fit these days?" one commenter wondered.
Another joked that just looking at Keric's tight shirt made them feel uncomfortable on his behalf.
Not everyone was distracted by his appearance, though.
"I've had the privilege of attending one of his talks. He's extremely professional," wrote one netizen.
Still, with all that attention on his physique, it was probably only a matter of time before Keric himself weighed in.
"As for my shirt, yes, it was a little tight. Sorry, I really do work hard at the gym! At most, I'll buy a bigger one when I get my next paycheck," he joked.
Keric also hoped people would shift their attention away from his muscles and towards the work being done by his school and its students.
He also invited anyone who wanted to discuss education to message him privately.
Wait, did he just give everyone the green light to slide into his DMs? Just make sure you're there to talk about education.
