Jackson Wang’s Hair Appears Thinner In Recent Pics; “Where Did All His Hair Go?” Netizens Ask
Is it hair loss, or just an unfortunate combination of hair colour and lighting?
Is Jackson Wang, one of the most handsome Chinese idols, having a “hair loss crisis”?
Netizens seem to think so.
The 32-year-old Hong Kong star recently attended an event in Yunnan, looking suave in black with his newly dyed silver-blond hair.
But when images from the event started making the rounds online, it was his hair — or apparent lack of it — that got netizens talking.
In one clip, Jackson lowered his head while leaving the event, revealing rather sparse-looking hair on top.
“Where did all his hair go?” wondered one netizen.
Some were convinced his locks are thinning, with one pointing to the “density and thickness” of his hair as proof.
Others blamed his light hair colour, flat styling and the lighting, while a fan shared a pic of Jackson from three months ago with unstyled hair to show he still has plenty of it.
“He probably isn’t balding. People who are really bald would be very conscious about their hair and wear wigs or hairpieces to make it look much fuller... like Huang Xiaoming,” read one comment.
Ouch.
Jackson, for his part, has addressed balding rumours before.
A few years ago, he insisted he wasn't losing his hair, joking that he had so much of it, there was enough “to make a wig”.
He explained that frequent dyeing and styling, as well as the use of hair gel, could sometimes make his hair look thinner than it actually was.
Wonder if he still stands by that claim.
