Eason Chan’s Daughter & HK Tennis Star Split Just 6 Months After Going Public
Coleman Wong, who recently won Asian Games tennis gold, confirmed the breakup during a livestream, saying he now wants to focus on his career.
Looks like it's game, set and match for this young couple.
Singer Constance Chan, daughter of Hong Kong singer Eason Chan, and Hong Kong tennis star Coleman Wong have called it quits just six months after going public with their romance.
The pair, both 22, went public with their romance in April, but breakup rumours began swirling last month after eagle-eyed netizens noticed they had unfollowed each other on Instagram.
Coleman, who recently won the men's singles gold medal at the Asian Games in Nagoya, finally confirmed their split during a livestream with Hong Kong YouTube group JFFT.
When asked if he and Constance were still together, he replied matter-of-factly: "It's over. Yeah, it's nothing."
When pressed on whether the breakup rumours were true, Coleman appeared resigned and simply said: "Yes."
He added that he would now focus on playing tennis.
Coleman did not reveal why they broke up or when exactly they parted ways.
Interestingly, despite the breakup rumours, Constance was reportedly spotted liking a social media post celebrating his gold medal win.
The former couple first sparked dating rumours in February, and things appeared to be going swimmingly after they made their relationship official.
When Coleman competed at the French Open, Constance even flew to Paris with her famous dad to cheer him on.
In June, she celebrated Coleman's 22nd birthday by sharing photos and videos of them together on Instagram.
"To more days like these twin, love ya," she wrote.
