Carol Cheng's Pic With Matt Damon Got People Zooming In On His Face. Here's Why

Do you have that one friend who insists on taking the photo, then cranks the beauty filter up to before posting it? 

It seems Hong Kong veteran actress Carol Cheng might just be that friend.

The 67-year-old actress and host recently travelled to London to interview the cast of The Odyssey. She commemorated the occasion with a selfie alongside American actor Matt Damon, 55, that she posted on Instagram. 

"So happy to have chatted with Matt Damon. Can you guess who else I interviewed?" she wrote.

We doubt anyone asked, because all eyes were on Matt.  Specifically, how incredibly smooth, slim and poreless his face appeared.

Matt who normally sports a rugged, bearded look, led some netizens to joke that he had been transformed into a "pretty boy” (小白脸).

Others joked he had undergone a full K-drama transformation overnight.

"You don't mess with Hong Kong baby girl. She will Photoshop as she pleases,” one commented. 

It seems the brutal comments got to Carol, and she has since closed the comments section on the post. 

If all this sounds vaguely familiar, that's because it isn't Carol's first time giving a Hollywood star the beauty filter treatment.

Last May, the veteran TV host also shared a heavily filtered picture with Tom Cruise after interviewing the American actor in London during the promotional tour for Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning.
