Julie Tan Splits With Influencer Boyfriend Douglas Tan: "The Decision Was Reached With Immense Kindness & Respect"

Julie Tan and her influencer boyfriend have called it quits. 

Last September, the 33-year-old local actress made her relationship with content creator Douglas Tan Instagram-official after he shared a birthday post for her last birthday.

But today, Julie took to her IG Stories to share "a personal update with love in [her] heart".

"Douglas and I have decided that our romantic journey together has come to an end," she wrote.

"This decision was reached with immense kindness and respect, and I will forever cherish the wonderful memories and countless adventures we shared."

She went on to thank her followers for all the love they had shown the former couple.

"While this chapter closes, I am leaving it with so much including clarity, wisdom, and a friendship that I deeply value," she said.

She added that her "heart is full of gratitude for it all". At press time, both Julie and Douglas still have their couple photos up on their respective accounts. 

According to his social media profile, Douglas is the co-founder of creative media agency Pandastic Media, and tech director and content creator at social media agency Virality.

While it's not known the exact duration of their relationship, Julie spoke to 8days.sg about her decision to freeze her eggs at the age of 31 back in August 2023.

At the time, the actress had just gotten out of a long-term relationship and told us freezing her eggs gave her more time to "choose the right partner who has the same values" as she does.

If Julie and Douglas had only got together after August 2023, it would suggest that they had dated for less than two years.
