19-Yr-Old Daughter of 5566”s Zax Wang Works as a Barista at Bubble Tea Shop
People often assume that children of celebrity parents have an easier start in life and face less pressure to enter the workforce at a young age.
But that’s not always the case.
Earlier this week (Dec 19), Taiwanese actress Ji Qin, 49 — wife of 5566’s Zax Wang, 45 — shared a 2025 recap on Instagram that offered a glimpse into her children’s next chapter.
“This year, the children are entering a new chapter in their lives. Lele has started her very first part-time job,” she wrote, referring to her 19-year-old daughter.
Meanwhile, their 18-year-old son, Yaya, has begun his studies in Canada.
In the Instagram reel, Ji Qin revealed that Lele, who graduated from Columbia International College last year, has taken up a job as a barista at Taiwanese bubble tea chain Coco.
Lele was seen behind the counter in the brand’s grey uniform and black apron, serving drinks to customers, including her brother, who stopped by to visit her at work.
Netizens were pleasantly surprised to see the celebrity couple’s daughter taking on such a down-to-earth role. Beyond their showbiz careers, Ji Qin and Zax also run a guesthouse, Play Hotel, in Taiwan’s Yilan.
“I really love [Ji Qin and Zax's] family, especially the way you educate and raise your children,” one fan gushed. “I hope to be like you guys in the future,” they added.
A reminder that even with famous parents, learning independence can still start from the ground up.
