In a recent interview, Taiwanese YouTuber Evelyn Chen (aka Li Ke Tai Tai), who is also the founder of supplement brand Better Biosciences, shared an interesting company protocol that left netizens green with envy.
"Our staff fill in [the amount they want] for their year-end bonuses," the 39-year-old said.
"Whatever amount they ask for, I'll give it to them," she stressed. "Because I absolutely trust and am grateful towards my employees for their great work."
While Evelyn, who currently has 15 staff in Taipei, wouldn’t reveal the highest bonus requested, she calmly said that she wasn’t surprised when she saw the figure.
"I didn't get a shock, I thought it was very good," she quipped.
She also divulged that the bonuses certainly reached several hundred thousand TWD (ranging from S$12K to S$39K).
However, when asked if the number has hit a million (S$41K) before, she sighed.
"I'm worried that too many people will start applying for jobs with us," she mused.
Okay, but where do we apply?
