Nicholas Tse Hit by Laser During Concert, Fans Spot ‘Smoke’ From His Head
The Hong Kong star powered through the performance despite being struck by a laser beam mid-song.

Hong Kong star Nicholas Tse, 45, recently embarked on his highly-anticipated concert tour —his first large-scale tour in more than two decades.
However, during his Chongqing stop, a stage mishap left fans deeply worried.
While performing at the Chongqing Olympic Sports Stadium, Nic was rocking out on his electric guitar mid-song when a laser beam suddenly struck the side of his head. He quickly tilted away, frowning and glancing to the side in visible shock.
Ever the professional, he powered through the performance, subtly shaking his head when a crew member appeared to ask if he wanted to stop the show.
After finishing the song, Nic was seen touching the side of his head, seemingly to soothe the spot where the laser had hit.
A clip of the incident quickly went viral, with some fans even claiming they saw smoke rising from Nic’s head, suggesting the laser may have caused minor burns.
The rest of the concert continued without a hitch, and Nic did not address the incident publicly, leading many to assume, thankfully, that he wasn’t seriously injured.
Still, fans remain uneasy about the mishap, pointing out how dangerous it could have been if the laser had struck his eye instead.
“Someone’s definitely getting fired for this mistake,” one netizen remarked.
