Leo Ku, 53, & 57-Yr-Old Wife Welcome Second Son

Hong Kong singer Leo Ku, 53, kicked off the New Year by announcing that he and his 57-year-old wife, Lorraine Chan, have welcomed their second child, a baby boy.

The couple, who secretly registered their marriage in 2014 in Las Vegas, kept the pregnancy under wraps.

Judging from netizens and friends’ reactions online, the surprise announcement caught many off guard. Leo and Lorraine are already parents to five-year-old son Kuson.

Taking to Instagram on New Year’s Day, Leo shared a heartwarming photo of him and his wife holding their baby’s tiny hand.

In a lengthy caption, he revealed that the birth was a “deeply touching” moment that happened in 2025, but he chose to wait until the first day of 2026 to share the news with everyone.

Leo said the decision to have a second child was largely inspired by Kuson.

“I can’t remember when it started, but Kuson told us on several occasions how much he wanted a younger brother or sister,” Leo wrote.

Explaining their choice, Leo added that both he and his wife grew up with siblings and understand the importance of having brothers and sisters to rely on.

“Parents can only accompany their children for part of their life’s journey. Beyond that, siblings are the ones who continue walking alongside each other,” he shared, adding that he is grateful their wish has come true.

Leo has previously spoken about how he and Lorraine love children and regret not starting a family earlier.

Lorraine conceived Kuson via vitro fertilisation (IVF) five years after getting married and had a high-risk pregnancy in 2019 when she gave birth at 52.
