Elaine Yiu clarifies rumoured relationship with married man
The actress said her ex was already separated from his wife when they were dating
Actress Elaine Yiu was recently said to be in a secret relationship with nightclub director Raymond Young for eight months, with intimate photos of the pair also being leaked to the media. As Raymond was married to actress-host Sarika Choy and allegedly had another mistress, Elaine was painted as the fourth party in the relationship.
On May 19, she took the opportunity to clarify her side of the story, saying that while she and Raymond were indeed dating at one point, it happened when he was already separated from his ex-wife for two years. She also revealed that they have already broken up but remain friends, although she refrained from disclosing when their relationship ended.
"I don't know how those photos managed to get out, and I don't know if anymore photos or videos will be leaked," she said, adding that if the person who leaked the photos crosses the line again, she will let her company deal with the matter.
When asked if she's afraid that this scandal will affect her career opportunities, Elaine said that she will still continue doing a good job as an actress, and that she has not received any notice from her company to stop her activities.
