Drunk Passenger Leaves Bra In Private Hire Car... And Driver's Wife Was The One Who Found It

Many of us have accidentally left something behind in a private hire car at some point. A phone, headphones, a cap, or maybe even shopping bags. 

But one woman managed to leave behind something.... unexpected.

In a Threads post, a private hire driver from Malaysia recounted an incident that took place after he picked up a passenger from a club. According to him, she was already intoxicated when she got into the car.

The ride went off without a hitch, but it wasn't until the passenger had alighted and the driver returned home that he discovered she had left behind a black bra. 

Sharing a photo of the "souvenir" in the back seat of his car, the driver said he believed it belonged to the passenger he had picked up earlier.

He wrote: “I picked up a passenger from a club, and she was drunk. I didn’t even realise she had left her [bra] in my car.”

The worst part?

“When I got home and was about to take my wife out, she spotted them and started getting suspicious,” he said.

Speaking to Malaysian media outlet World of Buzz, the driver said he had one simple reminder for passengers: always double-check your belongings before getting out of an e-hailing vehicle and try not to leave anything behind.

He also joked that the incident left his wife doing some overthinking after she spotted the forgotten undergarment in his car.

He penned: “Please passengers who get into [private hire cars] drunk, no matter how intoxicated you are, don’t leave your [bra], and especially trash, behind in the driver’s car. Take note. You're already grown up, so don't act like a fool.”
