China Tennis Match Erupts In Chaos as Woman Waves Swedish Passport, Crowd Yells “Send Her to Myanmar”
The disruptive fan was later penalised by police after refusing to leave.

The Shanghai Masters got an unexpected dose of drama on October 1 — and it wasn’t from the players on the tennis court.
During the match between Italy’s Matteo Berrettini and France’s Adrian Mannarino, a 46-year-old woman, surnamed Xie, was repeatedly screaming so loudly that the game had to be suspended not once, but three times.
The umpire appealed to her over the mic, saying, “Lady, please calm down.”
Spoiler alert: she did not.
Viral videos showed Xie, who was with a mixed-race boy, smugly flashing the victory sign, giving thumbs-ups, and waving her Swedish passport at security staff when they stopped her.
And when they tried to escort her out, she kicked up such a fuss that several officers had to drag her from her seat while she screamed: “I want to watch the game!” (Well, so does everyone else.)
The rest of the spectators burst into applause as she was hauled out, with some cheering: “Shut up, go away!”
One even quipped: “Send her away to Myanmar.”
You know, like to the scam compounds?
Shanghai police later issued a statement on X (formerly Twitter) saying Xie had been drinking and was slapped with an “administrative penalty”.
They also reminded fans to keep things orderly so matches can go on smoothly.
Online sleuths later claimed that Xie, who is originally Guangzhou, had described herslef on social media to be the CEO of a jewellery company and had become a Swedish citizen in 2024.
