Fandi Ahmad’s Handsome Sons Steal The Spotlight After S’pore Football Team’s Historic Win
That is one good-looking family.
The Lions roared to a stunning victory yesterday (Nov 18), beating Hong Kong 2-1 in an Asian Cup qualifier match at the Kai Tak Stadium. The win meant that the Lions have clinched their spot in the 2027 AFC Asian Cup in Saudi Arabia, and have made sporting history in Singapore.
Sporting milestones aside, the Internet had other priorities and were swooning over the stars of the match – Ikhsan Fandi and Ilhan Fandi. “Wait, are those models or are they the football stars behind Singapore’s win against Hong Kong?” asked a netizen.
Yes. Ikhsan, 26, and Ilhan, 23, are the sons of Singapore legend Fandi Ahmad and 90s South African model, Wendy Jacobs. In other words, local football royalty.
Ikhsan and Ilhan are among Fandi and Wendy's five children.
Their eldest, Irfan Fandi, 28, plays for Thai club Port FC, and is in a relationship with Miss Universe Thailand 2023, Thai Danish model Anntonia Porsild. Iryan, 19, made his Singapore Premier League debut in 2023 and plays for the Young Lions today. The couple’s only daughter Iman, 25, is a model and singer-songwriter.
When they're not scoring for the Lions, Ikhsan and Ilhan are busy lighting up the Thai football scene under BG Pathum United. Ikhsan is currently on loan to Ratchaburi for the 2025/26 season, while Ilhan is making waves at Buriram United for the same run.
IG user @sazkeegan07 also excitedly posted about meeting Fandi’s crew on a Scoot flight.
Wendy, ever the supportive mum posted to IG a picture of Irfan and Ilhan being interviewed on CNA. “Proud mommy moment. Boys, this is just the beginning. Always have faith in your abilities and you will go far. Mommy is so proud of you both… fly the Singapore flag high and honour the Fandi Ahmad name with pride,” she captioned.
