Song Hye Kyo’s 'Reunion' With Exes Hyun Bin & Lee Byung Hun At Awards Show Got Everyone Talking

Some of Korea’s top stars gathered in Seoul for the prestigious Baeksang Arts Awards 2025 on May 5 to honour the best in Korean film and television.
29 awards were presented that night, with period K-drama When Life Gives You Tangerines emerging the biggest winner with four awards, Best Drama, Best Supporting Actor and Actress, and Best Screenplay.
However, what got netizens talking weren't just the winners, but actress Song Hye Kyo’s “reunion” with her famous ex-boyfriends Hyun Bin, 42, and Lee Byung Hun, 54, all nominated respectively for Best Actress and Best Actor.
Though they did not interact or appear in the same frame together, this marked one of the rare times all three were publicly seen at the same high-profile event since their break-ups.
It caused quite the frenzy online, just like last year when Hye Kyo, 43, and ex-husband Song Joong Ki, 39, showed up at the Baeksang.
One of the talked about moments at the recent event was when the camera panned to Byung Hun's blank expression when a clip of Hye Kyo’s acceptance speech after she won Best Actress last year was played on screen.
The unexpected shot quickly reignited public fascination with their past relationship.
Hye Kyo, who had a reputation for dating her co-stars, met Byung Hun on the set of 2003 hit All In.
They caused quite a stir when they started dating due to their 12-year age gap. Byung Hun was said to be Hye Kyo’s first love and her first public relationship.
However, things were not meant to be and they split after 21 months.
Hyun Bin and Hye Kyo dated for about two years after starring together in 2008’s Worlds Within.
They broke up before Hyun Bin was called for military service in March 2011.
Hyun Bin married actress Son Ye Jin in 2022, while Byung Hun tied the knot with Lee Min Jung in 2013.
