Why Did Sandy Lam Look So Upset At Her Concert? Fans Speculate After Stern Onstage Moment Caught On Camera
You never know when an unglamorous moment might be caught on camera, especially if you're a celeb with thousands of eyes on you at your concert.
Among the videos of Sandy Lam's recent gig in Shanghai on social media, one clip inadvertently captured a moment when the 60-year-old looked visibly displeased.
In the clip, Sandy was dressed in a white gown as she was slowly lifted onto the stage on a platform.
During the ascent, she suddenly appeared to glare at someone backstage with a stern expression and could be seen muttering angrily at someone suspected to be a staff member.
"Who on earth managed to make Sandy so angry?" the original poster then wrote in the caption.
Netizens were likewise curious about what had happened, with some speculating that Sandy was unhappy about certain aspects of the show.
“Successful people have high standards. It's perfectly normal,” one netizen wrote.
Another quipped: “She seems pretty fierce, but she's a diva, so she can be forgiven.”
Even before this incident, Sandy was known for her relentless pursuit of perfection. Her exceptionally high standards for her work have also earned her a reputation among collaborators for being “difficult” to work with.
Her longtime musical director, Lowell Lo, however, defended Sandy, explaining that while she has high standards and strives for perfection at work, her commitment to professionalism doesn't translate to arrogance or difficult behaviour in her personal life.
