Rumoured Founder Of "Pickup Artist Training Camp" Reveals How She Helped Wilber Pan's Wife Woo The Singer Back Then
Sister Amy reportedly also matchmade Aaron Kwok and his wife Moka Fang, but denied that she'd ever created a "training camp" for ladies to learn how to land a famous husband.
In 2020, Taiwanese singer Wilber Pan surprised everyone by announcing his marriage to Chinese flight attendant Luna Xuan.
Wilber, 45, and Luna, 31, remained extremely lowkey after tying the knot and reportedly have a daughter, born in 2020.
Despite how low profile they have been, it has been speculated for years that they were introduced by a lady named "Sister Amy", allegedly the founder of an elite social-etiquette training program.
The rumours first gained traction after Chinese billionaire heir Wang Sicong reportedly made a comment when the couple first got married.
“Sister Amy is impressive. Her two top 'disciples' — one married superstar Aaron Kwok, the other married Wilber Pan," wrote Sicong online back then.
That fuelled talk about a so-called “pickup artist training camp" that Amy allegedly founded to coach women on how to marry celebrities, with Luna and Aaron's wife, Moka Fang, often cited as her students.
And now, Amy, who is actually an artiste manager, has finally addressed those speculations.
In a recent video on Xiaohongshu, Amy, for the first time, personally recounted how Wilber and Luna met.
It was apparently Luna who first asked if she could be introduced to Wilber: “She liked his music and wanted to get to know him.”
Amy, however, clarified that she only privately introduced friends to one another, insisting there was never any actual “training camp.”
As a mutual friend, Amy not only arranged their first meeting but also intentionally created multiple small-group gatherings afterwards.
What began as karaoke outings with a dozen or twenty people gradually turned into dinners with only four to six people. The intimate group setting then allowed the pair to interact in a more natural, relaxed setting.
Amy also noted that Luna always sat quietly and politely during gatherings, standing out from the highly competitive girls in Shanghai’s social scene.
After sensing that Wilber similarly had a favourable impression of Luna, Amy then steered conversations towards the two of them, giving them more opportunities to talk and connect.
She apparently also has a knack for spotting a person’s “spark” quickly and amplifying it, which helped her bring the couple together.
Interestingly, Amy said that she only learned about the couple's marriage through the news and had no prior knowledge of it.
This new video has since reignited a new wave of discussion as Wilber previously claimed that he met his wife by chance on a plane.
The discrepancy between Wilber and Amy’s accounts has hence drawn renewed public interest in how their relationship actually started.
