Husband Of Na Ying Denies Affair After Video With Woman at Bar Goes Viral

Things are not looking rosy for Chinese singer Na Ying’s marriage.

Recently, gossip account AAA Shengua Danzi accused the 57-year-old’s husband, businessman Meng Tong, 58, of cheating while she’s away.

It released a video showing a woman snuggling up to Meng Tong at a bar.

In the clip, the woman is seen laughing, leaning on Meng Tong’s shoulder, and holding his arm as they left the party together in his car.

The video ends with the car driving into a residential compound, which the account claimed was Na Ying’s villa.

The viral footage sparked widespread discussion online, quickly sending the alleged scandal to the top of Weibo’s trending searches.

Many netizens expressed sympathy for Na Ying and criticised Meng Tong of “betraying trust.”

What was most hurtful was that he allegedly brought the woman back to Na Ying’s home.

Some netizens noted that Na Ying was in London that night visiting their 18-year-old daughter Xiaotong, who’s studying there.

Meng Tong denied the allegations, calling them “pure fabrication,” and threatened legal action against malicious slander.

He later explained that he was attending a gathering with friends to celebrate a bar opening.

He had known the woman for years, and they had previously invested in a business together.

Addressing the intimate-looking footage, he clarified that the woman was simply helping him into the car because of a leg injury

Since they live in neighboring communities, he gave her a ride home.

He apologised for his lack of discretion and will be mindful of his behavior in the future.

This is not the first time Meng Tong has faced infidelity rumors.

Back in November 2022, he was also accused of cheating, but Na Ying’s legal team issued a statement denying the claims, saying his normal interactions were being misinterpreted. That statement was later deleted.

Na Ying and Meng Tong tied the knot in 2006 and share daughter Xiaotong. Na Ying also has a 19-year-old son from her previous relationship with Chinese footballer Gao Feng.

Though low-profile, Meng Tong is reportedly the founder of the well-known Beijing bar VICS and is often described as a heavyweight in the capital’s nightlife industry.
