3 Men Arrested For Burglary Go Viral.... Because Of Their Abs

A police operation targeting a group of suspected housebreakers in Malaysia has gone viral for a reason no one saw coming.

According to reports, three men aged between 25 and 42 were arrested on March 15 after police received a tip-off about a burglary in Sarawak.

The group allegedly targeted vacant corner houses, stealing items like air-conditioning units and electrical cables before selling them.

They also reportedly used a Toyota Camry belonging to one suspect’s father to carry out their activities.

Except all these details of the crime were not what the internet zeroed in on.

Photos of the suspects being escorted by police quickly circulated online — and instead of focusing on the alleged offences, netizens zoomed in on something else entirely: their physiques.

Can you blame them? These were not your usual mugshots of dishevelled, disgruntled people.

“Wow! These gangsters have such good bodies!” gushed one netizen. Another mused about how they could help with the suspects' reform:  “I can change them. Allow me to help them find legal jobs.”

Others couldn’t resist pointing out the irony, with one remarking: “They look fitter than the police who arrested them.”
