Taiwanese Star Joe Chen Weighs 48kg; Complains About Not Being Able To Lose More Weight

Trying to match up to society's beauty standards can be too much sometimes.

Recently, Taiwanese actress Joe Chen shared on her Instagram Stories that she's been trying to shed some pounds.

"I just woke up from my beauty sleep, I can sleep so much when I don't have to work. If not because I was hungry, I could sleep until dinner time," wrote the 46-year-old.

She also shared a pic where she was weighing herself on the scale, and openly showed her weight to everyone.

The scale read: 48.44kg.

At that weight, the 1.64m-tall Joe's BMI score would be 18, and she'd be classified as underweight. However, she lamented that she had 2kg more to lose.

"You'll really lose weight when you sleep [a lot], but it's so hard for my weight to go down to 46kg," she lamented.

"But I've been exercising regularly, I feel like I've grown some muscles," added Joe.

She knows muscles weighs more than fat, right?
