Looks like Hong Kong star Eason Chan has almost fully recovered from his fractured cheekbone which he sustained when he fainted while playing tennis in June.

The singer, who had to postpone his Chongqing and Foshan concerts to focus on recovery, has been spotted out and about by netizens in Hong Kong.

In early July, a couple of fans took to social media to gush about how friendly Eason was when they bumped into him outside a cha chaan teng.

Not only did he chat with them, when they wanted autographs from him but did not have pen and paper, he went to borrow them from the eatery.

Well, we’re not surprised as Eason, who turns 50 today (Jul 27), is known to be one of the nicest Hong Kong celebs.

The lucky netizens promised to be his fans forever.

Just when we thought we could not get more envious of the fans, another netizen shared his brother’s 'next-level' encounter with Eason.

He had dined, or rather, shared a table with the singer at a local eatery.

He posted snaps of Eason, who was wearing a cap and face mask, as well as their conversation on Weibo earlier this week.

In his post, he gave the singer the code name “Doctor” aka yi sheng in Chinese, which sounds like Eason.

The netizen said his brother first tried to confirm Eason’s identity by asking: “Are you E…”

But before he could finish his sentence, he was shushed by Eason, who replied: "Keep your voice down, keep your voice down."

Eason had also declined taking a photo together, but other than that, he appeared very relaxed sharing the table with a stranger and went about his meal like any regular Joe. He even helped himself to his dining companion’s food.

If you’re wondering where he was dining, it’s WaKee restaurant at Prince Edward, which specialises in Teochew braised cart noodles.

The eatery is also highly recommended by Charmaine Sheh.

Do those noodles taste better?
