Ex Boss Of Du Meizhu, The Whistleblower In Kris Wu’s Rape Scandal, Accuses Her Of Not Being “A Good Person” Either; Claims She Took Advantage Of A Male Model
This comes right after news of Kris Wu’s 13-year jail sentence.
Last Friday (Nov 25), Chinese-Canadian singer Kris Wu, 32, was found guilty of rape and sentenced to 13 years in jail.
Kris' downfall started when influencer Du Meizhu, 20, first came forward to accuse Kris of date-raping her when she was 17.
Aside from that, she also dropped a series of Weibo posts, accusing him of being a sexual predator and having sexual intercourse with minors.
Following that, 24 other women came forward with their own allegations against Kris, resulting in a year-long investigation of his crimes.
After the news of his sentence was made public, Meizhu took to her Weibo to write: “Finally the day I’ve been waiting for. Though it is late, justice has been served."
She then described herself as “a normal person who is but a little braver”.
Meizhu has been praised by many for being a whistleblower and for being courageous enough to speak up about her experience with the disgraced star. She was also called a “heroine”.
However, not everyone is willing to sing her praises.
Enter a man who claims to be Meizhu’s former boss.
The alleged former boss hosted a recent live stream, where he asserted that Meizhu “isn’t a good person either”. He also said that “her actions and behaviour made [him] feel disgusted”.
According to him, Meizhu had once intentionally made a male model drunk, and “brought him to the toilet” where he claimed she took advantage of him.
He also said he had payment records and CCTV footage to back up what he was saying. He then challenged Meizhu, asking if she “dared to respond” to his allegations.
Netizens were shocked by his claims.
However there were also people who commented that “Meizhu isn’t a good person, but [in comparison], Kris Wu isn’t even [fit to be called] a ‘thing’”.
As of press time, Meizhu has yet to respond to the allegations.
