Chinese Actor Busted For Lip-Syncing After Forgetting To Use Mic While Performing

It’s a fact that many celebrities lip-sync during their performances.

How many people can sound that good live, even more so  when they're dancing at the same time?

But at least lip-sync well.

One of the performers at HunanTV’s countdown show was Chinese actor Chen Zheyuan, who sang a duet with Chinese actress Cheng Xiao.

In a clip that's since gone viral, Zheyuan, 28, who was a member of now-defunct Chinese band Mr.BIO, was seen helping Chen Xiao down the stairs. 

The pair were supposed to start dancing and singing together at that point. However, Zheyuan forgot to hold up his mic.

It was only after he heard his own vocals blasting from the speakers did he start to lip-sync. 

Too late.

Netizens did not pass on the chance to mock the actor for his blunder.

"This lip-syncing is so fake, it's so obvious," criticised a netizen while another scoffed: "He wasn't even mouthing the words correctly and still forgot to raise the mic. How awkward."

Another netizen laughed: "Yuan yuan's not going to be able to sleep tonight anymore".
