Some say that when someone suddenly becomes unusually active online, it could mean they have something on their mind.

So what, if anything, was behind Cecilia Cheung's sudden Instagram spree?

On Wednesday (Aug 19), netizens noticed that the 46-year-old actress was unusually active on the platform, posting a whopping 58 Instagram Stories in a single day.

Cecilia documented pretty much everything — from getting ready to go out and showing off cute figurines she'd bought at Disneyland to water sports, frying eggs, selfies and other snippets of daily life.

Among the posts was a repost of a cryptic quote that read: “Love doesn't need to be perfect. It has to be loyal and true.”

Her sudden burst of activity quickly got people talking.

Many fans loved how much Cecilia was sharing, praising her for being open and “down-to-earth”.

“Ceci never treats us like outsiders,” gushed one fan.

Another joked: “She posted more Stories today than the number of messages I send in a whole day.”

One fan said Cecilia was simply “making full use of the platform” and “treating Stories like Stories are meant to be used.”

Others, however, wondered if there was more behind the sudden oversharing.
