Disposable cameras are having their moment once again, and Senior Minister Lee Hsien Loong is in on the retro trend too.

In an Instagram post, the 73-year-old was handed a disposable film camera during a trip to Argentina, smiling as he said he was looking forward to using it.

According to the Prime Minister’s Office, SM Lee was in Argentina in October for a working trip.

He then got to work, snapping photos of locals and cityscapes with the disposable cam, while strolling the streets of Buenos Aires.

Who knew he had such flair to be a street photographer?

That said, it's no secret SM Lee is an avid photographer and has often shared many of the photos he's taken on social media.

Still, we are presuming that it has probably been awhile since he last picked up a disposable camera.

“It was an interesting switch from phone and digital photography. With film, you only have a limited number of exposures. Also, you don’t know how your shots turn out until the roll is developed,” he wrote.

Netizens were quick to assure SM Lee his pictures turned out great, many praising his eye for detail.
