19-Yr-Old M’sian Woman Gives Birth to 5th Child; Had Her First Kid At 13

A 19-year-old Malaysian woman’s motherhood journey has left the Internet stunned. 

Her story was first shared on social media by a 24-year-old new mum who shared the same hospital ward as the 19-year-old. 

During a brief conversation, the older woman found out that the 19-year-old had just given birth to her fifth child. 

Yes, at 19, she already has five kids. So do the math.

She revealed she first got pregnant when she was in Standard 6, which is the equivalent of Singapore's Primary 6, when students are about 12.  

The 19-year-old also shared that her eldest, a boy, is turning six this year.  

She had him when she was 13, and had her second two years later. Her third child is two, and her fourth and fifth are twins. 

According to the post, the doctor chided the 19-year-old woman’s husband for poor family planning. 

“She’s only 19, and she has already given birth to five children. Don’t you feel bad for her?” the doctor said.
