“I Kill You Ah!” Kelly Chen’s Reaction to Front-Row Fan Who Didn’t Know Her Lyrics Goes Viral
That fan totally blew it.
You’d think people in the front row of a concert would be diehard fans who know every word to their idol’s songs.
But that clearly wasn’t the case at Kelly Chen’s recent show.
In a viral clip, the 53-year-old Cantopop goddess was interacting with fans and shaking hands off stage when she suddenly stopped in front of one supporter who held out their hand to form a heart with her.
Blocking their hand with her palm, Kelly joked: “Hey, you sing! Don’t spend all your time taking photos!”
That would seem like a dream-come-true moment for the fan, wouldn’t it? But nope.
Instead of singing along, the fan reacted in the most unexpected way.
“I don’t know [the lyrics]!” they gushed bashfully in English, sending the entire audience into laughter.
Kelly was, naturally, stunned.
“I kill you ah!” she shot back in English, giving the fan a playful smack on the head.
She added, “Everybody kill you ah, you don’t know!” before moving on to greet the rest of the crowd.
Honestly… don’t know the lyrics, and still filming away?
