What Did Christy Chung's 17-Yr-Old Daughter Hide During Live Stream When Mum Walked In? Netizens Think It’s A Vape
'90s bombshell Christy Chung’s 17-year-old daughter, Jaden, has gone viral after an awkward moment during a recent livestream led netizens to speculate that she was hiding a vape.
Jaden is Christy's second daughter with her second ex-husband, Taiwanese music producer Jon Yen. The actress, 55, also shares 16-year-old daughter Cayla with Jon, while her eldest daughter, Yasmine Ross, 28, is from her first marriage to British businessman Glen Ross. Christy is now married to Chinese actor Shawn Zhang, 44.
Jaden, who is currently studying in Boston, was chatting with fans when she suddenly appeared startled by someone opening the door to her room.
She immediately froze and hurriedly grabbed a long, slender object from her desk before shoving it underneath the table.
She then looked towards the door and called out a somewhat stiff "Hi!" before turning back to the camera looking visibly flustered.
After the coast was clear, Jaden laughed awkwardly, patted her chest repeatedly and told viewers: "My mum came in. That scared me to death."
Moments later, Christy walked into the frame smiling, greeted Jaden's viewers, seemingly unaware of the brief moment of panic that had unfolded just seconds earlier.
The clip has since gone viral on Chinese social media, with many speculating that the object Jaden hid was a vape.
There were comments like “She's so young and already vaping?", “That instinctive reaction says it all” and “If she's still underage, she really shouldn't be vaping."
Neither Jaden nor Christy has addressed the online speculation.
