‘90s Screen Goddess Chingmy Yau Has Another Daughter Who Is Just As Gorgeous

She was the ultimate screen siren of the ’90s, but these days, Chingmy Yau’s legacy lives on in her equally stunning daughters.

The Hong Kong former actress, who stepped away from the limelight after marrying fashion mogul Sham Kar Wai in 1999, has three daughters who seem to have inherited not only her beauty but her elegant poise.

Her eldest, 23-year-old Ayla Shum Yuet, dubbed the “prettiest second gen star” and Chingmy’s mini-me, is already making waves in showbiz.

Now, all eyes are on her second daughter, 20-year-old Shum Yat, thanks to a holiday snap Shum Yuet shared on Instagram.

Chingmy’s youngest daughter Shum Sen is 13.

The photo shows Shum Yat posing in front of Greek ancient ruins, with the caption: “My beautiful sister.”

Dressed in a brown strappy top and flowy white skirt, and hair slightly tousled, Shum Yat exuded a breezy, effortless charm that has drawn praise from netizens.

Many were quick to gush over her natural beauty and the close bond between the sisters.

Unlike her older sis, Shum Yat has largely stayed away from the public eye. She’s known to enjoy photography and has an Instagram page for her snaps.

Yes, she’s great in front and behind the camera.

This isn’t the first time Chingmy and her girls have caused a stir online.

In May, Shum Yuet shared snaps of them during a trip to Xi’an.  

The rare family photos left netizens marvelling at Chingmy’s age-defying beauty.

Even with a mask on, the 57-year-old’s flawless skin and slender figure drew comparisons to her daughters, with many declaring the trio could pass off as sisters.
