3rd-Gen Boss Of Nanyang Sauce Factory Offers $10K Bespoke Soy Sauce
A private whisky cask is one thing. But your own vat of soy sauce, brewed to your taste and bottled with your family’s name?
That’s what homegrown Nanyang Sauce offers through its bespoke service at its Jurong factory, which typically costs $10,000 to $15,000 a vat, with more elaborate orders reaching about $20,000.
Its owner Ken Koh, 42, is the third-generation family member running the old-school business his grandfather founded in 1959. He tells 8days.sg that customers can customise the sauce’s flavour and ingredients, right down to the water used to brew it.
