Brace yourself, The Masked Singer, the wacky celebrity singing reality show, is coming to Mediacorp.
On June 15, Mediacorp is among the first in Asia to air The Masked Singer, the American remake of the South Korean competition show King of Mask Singer, starting with the third and latest season. The show premiered in the US in Jan 2019. (Pay-TV viewers have to wait until July 6 to catch it on Blue Ant Entertainment.)
Viewers can either binge-watch The Masked Singer on meWATCH (five episodes per week), or catch it on weekly on Channel 5, Mondays, 7.30pm.
Those who watch it on Channel 5 have an incentive: there’s a ‘Watch and Win’ contest during the first three episodes on June 15, 22 and 29. The first 10 viewers each week to snap The Masked Singer logo appearing randomly during the show, and Whatsapp it to the number shown on-screen win a $50 voucher each.
The Masked Singer is a celebrity singing competition where participants concealed their identities in goofy full-body costumes. In each ep, panelists will try to guess their identities and the performers who get voted out by studio audiences will be unmasked while the victor moves on to the next round.
The show is hosted by Nick Cannon and the panel is made up of Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy, Nicole Scherzinger, and Robin Thicke. They’ll also be joined by guest panelists each week.
In Season 3, 18 masked celebs will be split into three groups of six and battle in out. The final nine will come together for the Golden Mask Trophy. T-Pain and Wayne Brady were the respective winners of Season 1 and 2.
Season 3 just ended its run last month in the US, so if you want to stay surprised, better steer clear of Google.
The Masked Singer Season 3 premieres June 15, Channel 5, 7.30pm. It’s also streaming on meWATCH.
