Trailer Watch: Christopher Lee Plans Get-Rich Scams In HBO Dramedy Series Workers

The Taiwanese production drops May 10 on HBO Go.

Christopher Lee is up to no good. On his new show, that is.

HBO Asia just dropped the trailer for Workers, the new Chinese-language original series from the makers of the Golden Bell Award-winning drama The World Between Us.

Based on the best-selling of the same name,Workers is about three construction workers (Lee,  Hsueh Shih-Ling and Yu An-Shun) trying to pull off several outrageous get-rich-quick scams — one involves them siphoning funds from a temple — with varying results.

Hilarity and heart-break ensue.

The six-part series — which also stars Miao Ke-Li, Peggy Tseng and Hsueh Shih-Ling — premieres May 10 (Sunday) at 9pm with two back-to-back episodes, followed by one new ep in subsequent weeks.

Download the HBO GO app at App Store or Play Store and get a 7-day free trial or access HBO GO via StarHub, SingTel and MeWatch.
