The Little Nyonya
The China-remake of the iconic 2008 Mediacorp drama, with Xiao Yan stars as the title character, a role made famous by Jeanette Aw in the original. 3/11 —The Tsunami
Two-part documentary about the 2011 earthquake off the Pacific coast of Japan that triggered a huge tsunami, flooding 650km of coastline, decimating many cities and towns (one led to the meltdown at Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant), and killing over 18,000 people. Part 1, which focuses on the first three days of the disaster while Part 2 (premieres Jan 16) covers the first year after the tragedy.
