Believe it or not, Friends, that classic sitcom about six pals living in New York — which made stars out of Jennifer Aniston (Rachel), Courteney Cox (Monica), Lisa Kudrow (Phoebe), David Schwimmer (Ross), Matt LeBlanc (Joey) and Matthew Perry (Chandler) — celebrates the 25th anniversary of its premiere on Sept 22.

To mark that quarter-century milestone, a free Friends app (iOS and Android) has been launched with lots of features that will keep you and your friends thoroughly entertained. (If you can’t get enough of Friends, there’s also on a behind-the-scenes book Generation Friends, by Saul Austerlitz, coming out on Sep 17.)

With this app, you can take photos/videos with Friends-themed augmented filters (pose with Marcel the monkey) and photo booth stickers/ frames (stamp your pics with a Central Perk logo); play a trivia quiz (what’s Ross’s middle name?); learn to cook food featured on the show (‘Joey’s Meatball Sub', anyone?); and download a tons of wallpapers.
