Sebastian Stan is taking a break from the Marvel Cinematic Universe to pursue a career in music and making amateur sex tapes. On-screen, that is.
Streaming service Hulu dropped on Friday (May 7) the first photos from their upcoming limited series, Pam & Tommy, starring The Falcon and the Winter Soldier actor as rocker Tommy Lee and Baby Driver’s Lily James as Pamela Anderson.
One black-and-white pic shows a heavily-tattooed Stan is seen screaming as James bites his nipple ring. In the second photo, we get a closer look at James’ Anderson get-up (is it just us or does she look like Taylor Swift?)
Shortly after the Hulu reveal, Stan posted another pic of him as Lee, with him quoting the Motley Crue drummer: “We don’t stop playing because we grow old, we grow old because we stop playing.”
The eight-ep series is described as a comedy centering on Lee and Anderson’s whirlwind romance (they married after only knowing each other for 96 hours in 1995) and the brouhaha surrounding their honeymoon sex tape that was stolen and leaked to the public.
Seth Rogen, who’s also the series’ co-producer, co-stars as the man who stole the tape. The cast also includes Nick Offerman (Parks and Recreation), Taylor Schilling (Orange is the New Black) and Andrew Dice Clay (A Star is Born).
Pam & Tommy is directed by Craig Gillespie, who worked with Stan on I, Tonya. Gillespie’s next movie, Cruella, the 101 Dalmatian prequel starring Emma Stone, opens in cinemas on May 28; it’ll also be offered on Disney+’s Premier Access for a $39.98 rental fee.
Lee, 58, and Anderson, 53, were married from 1995 to 1998, and they share sons Brandon, 24, and Dylan, 23. The former couple are reportedly not involved in Pam & Tommy.
Lee was last portrayed on-screen by Colson Baker aka rapper Machine Gun Kelly aka Megan Fox's boyfriend in Netflix’s 2019 Moltey Crue biopic The Dirt.
At press time, no word on when Pam & Tommy will be launched.
