Demi Moore Breaks Silence On Her Paris Fashion Show Debut But Fails To Address Rumours About Her Unrecognisable Look
Demi Moore spoke for the first time about her recent appearance on Fendi’s Spring-Summer 2021 show on Naomi Campbell's YouTube talk show.
Demi Moore says her surprise debut couture Fendi runway show appearance was "very magical".
The Ghost star, 58, wowed on the catwalk for designer Kim Jones's first-ever showcase for the high-end label's Spring 2021 couture collection during Paris Fashion Week last week.
Speaking to Naomi Campbell's YouTube series, No Filter with Naomi, Demi said: “It didn’t hit me afterwards that it was really a teenage fantasy fulfilled. I took a moment and I thought ‘oh my God, I just walked a runway show with some of the biggest models ever.'”
She added, "I felt special for me … it felt very magical. It was extremely memorable. It really was an honour.
Demi also spilled that she and her 29-year-old daughter, Scout, had a "slumber party" with model Cara Delevingne in their cabin, while she insisted they were all "COVID safe" and praised Air France for the cleanliness of their planes.
In fact it was my daughter Scout and the only other person in the cabin we were in was Cara Delevingne. It was literally like a slumber party … we were all COVID safe!"
Naomi also brought up how sweet it was seeing Demi spending time with her three daughters — Rumer 32, Scout, 29 and Tallulah, 27— as well as her ex Bruce Willis, his wife Emma and their daughters — Mabel, eight and Evelyn, six, during the pandemic.
“There’s been a lot of challenges and tragedies with the pandemic but I also think there’s been a lot of gifts and blessings, ” Demi said. “I personally felt like I was really grateful for things slowing down and the time that we had.”
“It was amazing,” she said. “My girls love their little sisters. Our family, regardless what the shape is, it’s important to keep together.”
During the 47-minute interview, the two also talked about Demi's memoir Inside Out as well the 1991 Vanity Fair cover where she famously posed naked while seven months pregnant with her second child.
The one thing that they didn't touch on was the controversy surrounding Demi's almost unrecognisable face during the Fendi show which fans speculating that she had cosmetic surgery. (Maybe Naomi was too shy to ask her.) But judging from the video, it looks like Demi's face is recognisable again. So maybe it's the make-up artist's doing?
