The Four Seasons Resort in Koh Samui stars as the titular White Lotus Resort and Spa in Thailand. Besides the property’s stunning luxury cliffside villas, you’ll spot the Four Seasons’ fitness areas and classy restaurants. However, while you may catch the characters eating breakfast here (on screen, that is), not every part of the property was perfect for filming of the HBO series’ third season (some meal scenes were shot elsewhere — more on that soon). Take in the panoramic ocean vistas from the resort that’s perched on a private beach in Chaweng with your favourite cocktail in hand.

#4: Anantara Bophut Koh Samui Resort

When you check in at this lush beachfront resort nestled within a former coconut plantation site, there are certain spots that should not be missed, especially if you’re a diehard White Lotus fan. These include the hotel’s signature Thai-style lobby and tree-lined entrance — perfect for photo opps. The hotel’s jewellery store, security station, and even the employee parking lot were also featured.

#6: Rosewood Phuket

While breakfast scenes were filmed at the Four Seasons Koh Samui’s restaurant, the venue was too dark for dinner scenes, according to a People.com interview with the show’s producer David Bernad. As a result, the charming restaurant that the characters dine at during dinner were filmed at Rosewood Phuket instead. More info
