Put these on your to-do list, stat.
#1: Go under the sea — without getting wet.
If sea-ing is believing, then you’ll think twice about hurling that empty can into the sea next time. Find out more about how ocean debris and pollution are endangering marine life at the Ghost Nets of the Ocean exhibition. Over 80 art installations of hammerhead sharks, turtles and other marine creatures on display are made from ocean debris, mainly abandoned fishing gear, while a complementary Tiny Turtles project features over 700 minature turtles woven from nets. Free admission. For more info, go to www.acm.org.sg.

#4: Buy a cucumber.
Hear ye, it’s World Cucumber Day this Wednesday (June 14). Hendrick’s Gin, which goes with cucumber like ham and cheese — or Selena Gomez and The Weeknd— is pulling all stops to honour the humble plant. So why buy a cucumber, we hear you ask. From 5pm to 9pm on June 14, you get a complimentary Hendrick’s and tonic cocktail when you bring a Japanese cucumber to any of these 10 participating bars: Oxwell & Co, Nutmeg & Clove, Library Bar, Smoke & Mirrors, Bitters & Love, Jekyll & Hyde, CrackerJack, The White Rabbit, Tess Bar and Anti:dote. It’s limited to one redemption per person, though there’s no limit on the number of, er, creative snaps that you can post. The world is your oyster, or should we say, cucumber.
